Peace in the Storms
In the midst of growing unrest and fear in Guayaquil and Durán, God’s light continues to shine. Despite the rise in gang activity and the tension many families face daily, five churches in these cities recently experienced a moment of hope and joy. Through the generous support of sponsors and the faithful service of local pastors, school supplies and uniforms were distributed to children in need. For many families, these items are more than just materials—they represent opportunity, dignity, and the reassurance that they are not forgotten. Pastors and volunteers risked their safety to ensure each child received what they needed for school, serving as true reflections of God’s love and courage.
We thank God that the government has recently increased security efforts, and some areas are beginning to feel more peaceful. Still, we ask our sponsors to please continue praying for the protection of the pastors, church leaders, members, and especially the children. Your prayers are powerful and deeply needed. Even in difficult times, God is at work—building His kingdom through the hands and hearts of His people. Thank you for standing with us and believing that light can still shine in the darkest places.
